Lake Toho actually has two parts; Lake Tohopekaliga and East Lake Tohopekaliga. Both are generally called Lake Toho by residents. Through following winding paths of small bayous you can actually pass from one lake to another. The lake covers an area of 11,968 acres and is almost 5 miles in diameter, which makes it the largest lake in Osceola County. It is known for its trophy size bass fishing; varieties of fish found in Lake Toho are: Bluegill, Bowfin, Brook Silverside, Dollar Sunfish, Florida Gar, Largemouth Bass, Redear Sunfish, Seminole Killifish, Taillight Shiner. The area is rich in wildlife, including bald eagles, white tailed deer, bobcats, turkeys and the area's most famous resident, the alligator.

Re-live history at Battle at Narcoossee Mill, an authentic re-creation of an actual Civil War battle. Held at Ralph V. Chisholm Park in Narcoossee, Florida, this event is educational and entertaining for all ages. Come roam through civil war era camps, watch the mounted cavalry ride back from the past, and enjoy music from the era of the Rebelaires.
